Thank you for your interest in signing up for Weitzman ECHO Domestic Violence (DV) Advocacy!
In partnership with the Weitzman Institute and New Horizon’s domestic violence services, the Connecticut Coalition Against Domestic Violence is excited to continue its previously offered virtual learning sessions through the Weitzman ECHO platform. There will be four Weitzman ECHO DV Advocacy sessions planned through August which will highlight legal advocacy, comprehensive approaches to advocacy and working with health care providers to more affirmatively create linkages. Tor the final session, advocates will learn to train healthcare providers on the best practices for screening, assessment, and referral for intimate partner violence in a healthcare setting. Experts in the field will walk participants through the basics of effectively training healthcare providers to implement an IPV screen in their healthcare setting and share lessons learned.
The final session will be held on Wednesday, August 15, from 1-2:30PM EST.
To sign up please complete the form below. We will be sending out access details to join the session. You will receive an agenda and didactic slides on the day of the session. Please note that if you already registered for all sessions, you do not need to register again.
