Bridget joined the Weitzman Institute in September 2013 as a member of Connecticut's Community HealthCorps, a branch of the AmeriCorps program. During her term of service, Bridget was involved in several different projects including the Rewards to Quit smoking cessation program, Project ECHO website management, and the Woodrow Wilson Microsystems team. After completing her AmeriCorps term in June 2014, Bridget joined the team full-time as a Research Associate and will be involved primarily with introducing several behavioral health research projects as well as other initiatives. Prior to CHC, Bridget graduated from the University of Connecticut in 2011 with a Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science, concentrating in Environmental Health. This program inspired her to further her education in the area of public health and she graduated from Yale University's School of Public Health in May 2013 with her MPH.
