Greg Ventrelli graduated from Ithaca College in 2016 with a B.S. in Health Sciences. His interest in public health was sparked after having the opportunity to take part in a research project that sought to investigate the feasibility of utilizing existing grassroots organizations to prevent obesity in local youth populations through increased access to healthy foods and physical activity.
Greg currently works on projects that involve smoking cessation, the relationship between diabetes and psychological trauma, and even a national initiative headed by the NIH that seeks to take a more precise approach to research in public health. He looks forward to gaining interesting and valuable experiences during his time at the Weitzman Institute.
