LaKisha Grant-Washington, EdD, joined Community Health Center's Postgraduate Training Program in January 2018 as the Program Coordinator, supporting the operations of CHC’s remotely hosted Nurse Practitioner Programs, Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Program, and the Administrative Fellowship Program. Prior to joining CHC, LaKisha worked in higher education for over 10 years at Capital Community College and Goodwin College providing high-quality, student-centered academic services to a broad student population, especially adult, ‘at-risk’, and underrepresented students in urban and suburban areas. She has extensive experience in academic instruction and curriculum development/implementation to promote college/career readiness and transition for student success. LaKisha has been responsible for the development of evaluation tools to align with curriculum content and oversight of grant writing initiatives. LaKisha obtained a Doctorate in Education from New England College in Henniker, NH; a Master of Science in Forensic Psychology from American International College in Springfield, MA; and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with minor in Management and Organization from Central Connecticut State University in New Britain, CT.
