Weitzman Institute and Sacred Heart University Institute for Public Policy Release First Statewide Poll Examining Connecticut Views on Telehealth
Telehealth – the ability of patients to connect with their health care providers via video and phone – has taken off during the COVID-19 pandemic. Community Health Center, Inc. and its research arm, the Weitzman Institute, commissioned Sacred Heart University’s Institute for Public Policy to survey 1,000 Connecticut residents on their views about this emerging, and now essential, technology.
Among the questions we asked were:
- Is telehealth here to stay?
- What do people like and dislike about it?
- Is the opportunity to access telehealth equitable across our state?
- Is there support for reimbursing telehealth visits similar to in-person?

2020 Telehealth Research Study
