In this week’s Weitzman ECHO COVID-19 session, we virtually hosted two of NYC Health & Hospital Infectious disease specialists as they share their experiences battling this illness on the front lines.

  • Emma Kaplan-Lewis, Clinical Quality Director HIV Services at NYC Health + Hospitals
  • Joseph Masci, Chairman of the Department of Global Health at Elmhurst Hospital Center

Our faculty panel also included Steven Scholand, MD Infectious Disease Specialist who practices at MidState Medical Center in Meriden, Connecticut; Mary Blankson, DNP, APRN Chief Nursing Officer at CHC, Inc., and session moderator was Daren Anderson, MD – Director of the Weitzman Institute at CHC, Inc. We are grateful to partner with Project HOPE. Through their support, we are able to educate providers, keep patients healthy and safe, and help battle the pandemic.
